Welcome to Jane McPhillips therapy, based in Sheffield.
Hypnotherapy for Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Phobias, ADHD & Autism
You might be here because….
Anxiety is taking up too much space in your life. You might be constantly worrying , overthinking, avoiding things. Maybe work is feeling impossible or school is too overwhelming.
Panic attacks. They feel as though they are coming out of nowhere and happening more often. Your whole body reacts and you don’t know how to stop them.
Phobias. A fear of a phobia is stopping you doing things you want to do. Whether it’s driving, needles, social situations, leaving the house, a fear of being sick or something that is difficult to explain to anyone else, fear can become incredibly limiting.
You’ve discovered you are ADHD or autistic (or both) and suddenly a lot of your life makes more sense. A diagnosis or recognising you are neurodivergent doesn’t automatically make things easier. You might be dealing with overwhelm, meltdowns, anxiety, masking, or maybe burn out, the impact of years of feeling you should be coping differently.
A different way forward
You don’t need to become a different person to feel better. My approach to hypnotherapy is about understanding what’s happening for you, changing the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and helping you develop ways of responding that feel more manageable.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, panic, a phobia, your ADHD/autism challenges or overwhelm, we will look at what is happening for you, rather than trying to squeeze you into a one-size-fits-all approach.
Hypnotherapy can help you to….
Feel calmer - learn to respond differently when your ,mind or body goes into anxiety, panic or overwhelm.
Break unhelpful patterns - move away from avoidance, overthinking and fear-based responses that can start to limit your life.
Understand yourself better - Especially if you’ve recently discovered you’re autistic or have ADHD and are beginning to make sense of yourself differently.
Build confidence in yourself - develop a stronger sene that you can cope with difficult feelings, situations and experiences.
Make changes that actually fit you - therapy that takes time to help you build a personal tool kit designed by you and for you with my help.
